Medic!

So, I finished a book today (DEEPER THAN THE DEAD by Tami Hoag).  Absolutely terrifying book which means I loved it, but more on that later.  Since I don't have the book that the library's holding for me in my hands yet, I decided to tackle the TBR and unearth some beauty from there to read next.  Sounds simple, no?  Yeahrightwhatever

So far, I've picked up and tossed to the side two books that I simply can't start now because I'd be reading them out of order in a series (P.D. Martin and Patricia Cornwell).  I've got about 8 books laying on my bed, waiting for me to make a final decision on what to read next. I started excavating my TBR mountain, hoping to come across the two books I'd like to start, if only I could find them (and now I'm sneezing like hell).  As a self-diagnosed mild-to-moderate OCD'er (you'd never know that by looking at the state of my house), I've decided that I'm about to enter....

.........TBR anxiety hell.  Ack!  What do I do?  Historical, suspense, paranormal...  Gah, the choices are nauseatingly endless...

Maybe I should just do jello shots.

Definitely jello shots. I'm just glad to hear there is someone out there like me. I get so anxious about what to read next - I know what I want but how do I know this book will deliver? Then I stumble into a slump - I've been fighting my way through by forcing myself to pick up books and reading but Kresley Cole is the one author I just want to gobble down. But what happens when I have no more to read!? Yeah, jello shots for sure!

Cindy, I glanced over a couple Kresley Cole books today in my mad rampage to find a book to read. I *really* need to get back into that series. I've only read the 1st book, but I liked it -- the dark paranormals seem to work for me.

"Relater" almost sounds like a Depeche Mode title!

That happens to me often. I usually pick 3-5 books and then read the first few pages and which ever one catches my interest the most at that moment is what I read.

:o)
