Well, I went ahead and did it: signed up for two reading challenges this year. Keishon's 2009 TBR Challenge (with themes!) and, once again, Yvonne's Harlequin/Silhouette Challenge, which I bombed last year. I'm considering one more, but wonder if I'd just better dip my toe in the waters to test this out before I constrain myself with too many "assignments".

I briefly toyed with the idea of signing up for Keishon's challenge, then vetoed it. As much as I need to read out of my TBR, my reading was so erratic in 2008, I didn't want to commit myself to anything in 2009 for fear of jinxing myself.
Wendy, ~debbie~ pointed me out to a website that showed me, in explicit detail, how I can change it. *snap* It was easy! I love the winter-y look and this is probably my favorite of the two I've used from that site. I had a Christmas tree up during the holidays.
Once I'd signed up with Keishon's challenge, I got scared! I'll be so disappointed in myself if I can't pull through. But, along with cleaning out the apt. and actually buying bookshelves, reading more and faster is my biggest resolution.
