TGIF!

I've always got these massive plans to really do some damage to my TBR on my weekends off, and rarely do I get the chance to actually carry through with those. But this weekend, I've got to play the good girl and do some studying to start collecting my CEUs (continuing education units) necessary for my practitioner license statewide...*sigh* Work, work, work, but I swear that I will be making time for some play. If not, John and Baron will be two very unhappy guys, because an unhappy Amy is an unhappy household...heh.

Lately I've been in a semi-slump with my reading, but now when I've found just the book to entertain me, I have "chores" to do on top of my CEU crap. I have GOT to get some more Christmas shopping done tomorrow and get to work on some blankets that I plan on giving as gifts. I discovered Hancock Fabrics has a KICK-ASS sale on polar fleece this week, so I plan on heading there tomorrow morning to partake.

As always, the house needs cleaning and there's laundry to do, but I am a firm believer in sticking my head in the sand and totally ignoring it all. If I ignore it, it's not there and doesn't need done. Which is why my dining room table is a disaster area...

I'd better go before my resolve totally disintegrates and I spend all evening on the computer, or even worse, playing Sudoku over at Yahoo...
